Auntie Marjorie Marjorie was my Dad’s sister. She was older than him by a few years. He always spoke of her with great fondness and brotherly love. She was not only my Auntie but also my godmother. I will always remember her for her baking. She made the most lovely cakes and pastries. I remember going to see her one Sunday afternoon and she produced a massive spread of wonderful l cakes. I have never been able to make cream pastry horns like she made them! When I got engaged Marjorie and Dick gave me pastry forks, which I still use today and when I got married a set of baking tins.
